A unique forum, co-sponsored by the Greater Boston Center for Contemplative Mind in Music (John Morrison, founding director) and Follen Church (Vivian Montgomery, Director of Music). This two-day gathering will bring together people who do work in music that is in service to the human spirit, creating a space where people can share what they do and learn from each others’ endeavors.

Exploring such areas as:
Healing
Composition
Improvisation
Therapy
Social and Environmental Justice
Performance
Musical Analysis
Worship
Body Mapping
Deep Listening
Transformation
The Vedic Kirtan tradition
The philosophical concept of Eudaimonia.

What makes it an UnConference?
No concurrent events, so everyone will get to experience everything
Ample time for conversation, reflection, and fellowship woven into the schedule
“Experiences” that don’t require discussion or response, but immerse participants in a distinct aspect of music as it nourishes the spirit.

Registration is $95, Friday only $40, Saturday only at $55.
The fee covers all meals (Friday dinner, Saturday lunch and dinner) and provides honoraria for guest performers.
